Mount Eliza Soccer Club Trials EOI

In preparation for 2026, Mount Eliza Soccer Club is seeking your EOI to trial for our Kangaroo (U8- U11) & Highest Graded Age teams (U12-U18), Boys and Girls teams.

Trials EOI Trials EOI

This year, the club has adjusted the way we manage trials and team placements. Instead of holding open trials for all players, we are now using an expression of interest process, alongside coaches’ assessments from the past season, to help us identify which players will be invited to trial for the top-graded teams.

By combining the expression of interest with the coaches’ assessments, we can better gauge the suitability of players invited to trial.

This allows us to refine the invitation process and ensure that those asked to trial for the top Red team are the players most appropriate for that level.

The aim of this approach is to: -

• Reduce the number of players trialing for top teams and facing unnecessary disappointment. 
• Minimize disruption to existing teams, with most changes applying only at the highest graded levels.  ⁠
• Maintain friendship groups and keep as many existing teams together as possible.

That said, some movement between teams is always expected. Each year we see:

• Players joining from other clubs. 
• ⁠Players moving up or down based on ability and team needs.
• ⁠Adjustments made to balance team numbers.

As a football committee, our priority is to minimize disappointment and disruption, while still ensuring that players are placed in teams that best suit their development.

General Registration for all players of all levels and experience from Under 6 Little Lizards to Under 18’s will open soon.
