Mount Eliza Soccer Club was founded in 2008, the brainchild of Peter Mcloughlin and Mike Etheridge who both realised that there was little soccer being played on the Peninsula & none at all in the Mt. Eliza Village. It began by sending flyers around a few local schools. The first year we had a total of only 9 players forming one under 7’s team playing in the local Bayside League, word spread & we contacted more Mt. Eliza Schools & by our second season we had grown to 56 players,In 2014 without any form of advertising we garnered 160 kids and in 2011 the club had around 180 members aged from 4 to 10 years old. We now have approximately 500 members.
We aim for all our teams to first and foremost enjoy the game of football, win or lose. We expect everyone involved in the club to follow our code of conduct and show respect for team-mates, coaches, opposition players, parents and officials.
Mount Eliza started as a community club and remains a place where families can get together to enjoy the beautiful game.
