Coaching at Mount Eliza Soccer Club

Mount Eliza Soccer Club is currently recruiting coaches for the upcoming season. Apart from being one of the fastest growing community clubs in Victoria, Mt Eliza boasts excellent facilities, equipment and a safe and fun environment for players to learn the world game.

The club has numerous players develop and go on to play with National Premier League clubs as well as players who just want to play for fun and still love the game.

With a football program overseen by our Technical Director, the club offers coaches 25% discount for their child in the team they are coaching plus free FFV coaches accreditation courses (see CCC below). If you have little or no experience or, you are an ex player or coach, we would be happy to have a chat.

The Club also has a Coach Buddy up program for those who are just starting out or wish to gain some tips on training or matchday tactics and warm-ups.

All Mount Eliza Soccer Club’s junior coaches are volunteers who come from the parent group.

Please contact the registrar if you are you wish to find out more,  alternatively click the button below...

Mount Eliza Soccer Club is proud to be part of the CCC Program

The CCC role provides relevant and valued coach support and mentoring in the Club environment and supports coaches to ensure sessions are safe, inclusive, organised, enjoyable and engaging for all involved.

Under the FV Club Coach Coordinator (CCC) Program, a selected person within a Club works closely with the FV Program Manager to:

  • Build strong sense of inclusion and belonging, including welcoming new players, members, and supporters.
  • Maintain good communication between all Club stakeholders and;
  • Create a positive, safe, and non-threatening environment in which players and coaches feel that they can try new things and make mistakes.

Clubs can support their coaches through a variety of packages ranging from a Basic package which primarily involves online support, through the Bronze & Silver packages which offer regular online catch-ups. Gold packages are also available, which provide a higher level of in-person support including Club visits, Community Coaching Certificates and limited access to a planned Coaching Conference.
