Payment Request For Official Referee Under 12 And Up

**As of Round 1 2025 Football Victoria Referees are paid directly by Football Victoria you do not need to pay a Football Victoria Referee**

Under 12 and up the Club will reimburse for Referee* Payments at home games if you need to hire one as a replacement for a no show Football Victoria Referee.

*Note Referee not Assistant Referee

Mount Eliza Soccer Club will reimburse you for these costs, however please arrange to have cash available on the day to pay the ref.

There have been incidents where FV Referees have not turned up and the club has not been advised - in this case it is a good idea to see if there is a parent within the group who can be on "standby" to ref any games. Parents are not paid in lieu of the ref however - usually a round of thanks at the end is sufficient!  For these occasions, it's a good idea to keep a spare whistle in the kit bag.

Usually, FV will advise the club on Friday afternoons of any referee unavailability. In this case, we will endeavour to inform the teams that are affected.
