Melbourne City Visit

As the sun began to dip, Scott ‘Jamo’ Jamieson and Moudi Najjar travelled down the Peninsula in search of a local, community club they could they could have some fun with, educate and entertain.

... and they sure did that!

The two City players mingled with the Committee, met the players, played some games, signed some shirts. I even saw one sign someone’s boot. Before putting themselves up for some Q&A with our very own rising stars.

The event ended with a penalty shoot-out with a difference. The challenge was for ‘our’ players to save a goal from Moudi or Scott.  How’s that possible you ask?
Let’s be fair, they were a rather soft set of kicks.Any of our players who successfully saved a penalty was lucky enough to win a chocolate egg or signed City ball sponsored by Peninsula Home Loands

This was an awesome event and one I would hope we’ll remember for a long time to come.
